Current Transformers
Osborne Current Transformers are commonly used to reduce system currents to levels that are appropriate for instrumentation and/or protection circuits. Osborne designs are developed to meet a specified current ratio into a specified burden impedance at a specified transformation error. One area of unique Osborne expertise is in designing for phase shift when current transformers are to be used for power measuring applications.
