Quasi Sine Wave Constant Voltage Transformers
Osborne Quasi Square Wave Constant Voltage Transformers are used to regulate output voltages for applications that have varying input voltages. When used with a rectifier conversion circuit, these units provide an elegant design approach to voltage regulation. Osborne achieves this innovative approach by partnering the constant voltage transformer with an auxiliary resonant capacitor winding. The result is a unique (though relatively simple) technology that offers reliability, performance, and cost advantages over other styles of voltage regulation.
